At We Clear Your Clothes, we make it easy for you to clear out unwanted clothing while choosing the option that works best for you.

Whether you want instant cash, to earn more through online resale, or to support local charities, our three-option service gives you full control.

With our Instant Cash option, simply drop off your clothes and we weigh them in on the spot you receive cash instantly with no hassle.

 

For higher-quality items, our Sell For You service allows us to list your clothes on eBay, Vinted and Whatnot, and you receive a percentage of every sale without doing any of the work.

If you prefer to give back, our Donate option helps support local charities including Restart, Burton Youth for Christ, The Eagles Nest Project and Burton YMCA. We sell what we can and donate a percentage of each sale to these community charities.

We believe clothing should never end up in landfill when it can still create value — for people, for the community, and for the planet.

 

Every year, huge amounts of perfectly good clothing are thrown away, and we’re committed to changing that. By reusing, reselling and repurposing as much as possible, we help keep clothes in circulation and reduce unnecessary waste.

Our work also strengthens the local economy. Instead of sending clothes abroad or discarding them, we keep them moving within the UK — supporting second-hand buyers, local charities and community projects. Your unwanted clothes stay in the economy, where they continue to do good.

Above all, we do this to support people in Burton-on-Trent. Through our Donate service, a percentage of sales goes directly to Restart, Burton Youth for Christ, The Eagles Nest Project and Burton YMCA — helping real families, young people and individuals in crisis.

We exist to give clothes a second life, give customers real choice, and give our community meaningful support. This is why we do what we do.

We accept most good-quality clothing and footwear for women, men and children. If it’s clean, wearable and in good condition, we can usually take it. This includes:

To keep our service efficient and hygienic, we’re unable to accept:

❌ Wet, dirty or heavily damaged clothing
❌ Underwear, socks, or used swimwear
❌ Duvets, pillows, bedding or towels
❌ Curtains, blankets or bulky textiles
❌ Items with strong odours (damp, smoke, pet etc.)
